PhotoPrintDay Fundraiser for earthquake relief

I’m taking part in #PhotoPrintDay fundraiser, to raise money for charities helping in the wake of the #TurkeySyriaEarthquake. The fundraiser has been extended till the end of February so there is still time to take part.

How it works:

  1. Pick a charity helping on the ground (for example Choose Love, Disaster Emergency Committee, Doctors Without Borders)

  2. Make a donation of minimum £10 (more if you can)

  3. Find an artist taking part using the hashtag #photoprintday on Twitter and Instagram, share a screenshot of your donation and get a free print

Please see PhotoPrintDay account on twitter or instagram for updates.

The photo I’ve chosen is of Sea Lilies - a plant that grows in the most improbable & hostile of places: in the shifting, scorching sands of a beach. This used to be a common flower in Cyprus, but overdevelopment has made it a rare sight and it's now a protected species.

This special flower grows in other parts of the Mediterranean too - including Turkey & Syria.

I’m offering five of these prints (from an edition of 33) in A4 size - easy to frame!
