Photos from Crossbones Graveyard
Thanks to Bankside Open Spaces Trust for a great street party!
There were hundreds of visitors to Crossbones Graveyard and the rest of the festival. The sun was out in full glory, the air was thick with BBQ smoke and the crash of samba bands.
I learnt a lot from Vigil Aunty and Dr Lucy Talbot about the history of Crossbones - fascinating to learn it was once a fairground, and very inspiring to hear about the fierce fight to keep it in community hands as a garden of remembrance.

The exhibition runs until 10th July and is opened by volunteers on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-2pm.
